Targetting “near me” terms

It is worth noting that it is difficult to track the rankings for term “[service] near me] but it will be seen in Search Console once you are ranking.
How I would normally do it is either:

1. Add “Are you looking for “plasterer near me”?” somewhere into the body of the text on the homepage; or
2. Create a new page similar to this one and link to it in the footer: https://lawn.com.au/lawn-mowing-near-me/ (and this is normally just a copy of the same target page except you can see where “near me” has been substituted in by doing a search on the page)
